New Media from Tonic
Finally, after months of preparation, our first Expericard is out in the Middle-East.
This new media allows our clients to bring deeper sensory experience to their customers by adding the usual audio-visual and interactive content you find in DVDs to scents, all this wrapped into a light-weight postcard.

1492 gets excited about our name
1492, the leading South American marcom magazine, had a special feature this month on where agencies got their name from.
We feature in very good company, amongst Strawberry Frog, Mother, Athos/TBWA...
It reads:
With respect to the name TONIC, Arnaud Verchère, partner and general manager told me that the name was chosen by its connotation of tonic, energy and remedy.
The anecdote tells that the name was written down on a post-it on the way to a meeting of the founding group of TONIC. They were still in their old agency BBDO and when he presented the name they adopted it on the spot. They were actually in a hurry as they had their first client with no name or logotype to produce business cards

Our office by Bafco
We love our office as it reflects our personality and the way we work.
Since most of you will probably never have a chance to see it, check this article published last month. It should give you an idea of what our place looks like and why it was designed that way (open space, very colourful and friendly, lots of small meeting areas, as little walls as possible...).
Any comments on how we can improve, come and check us out first.

On Tuesday 20th March, we scored 4 Gold and 1 Bronze at the first Dubai Lynx Awards – the Middle-East chapter of the renowned Cannes Lions.
This is what Gulf News (the largest English paper in te Middle East) had to say about it yesterday.
After 2 Gold and 1 Bronze at Epica in January and the first ever Middle-East agency to be a finalist at the World Press Awards (started by the legendary Neil French - http://www.worldpressawards.com/), it's a good start of the year.
Will keep you posted on the One Show and Cannes shortly.

New Tonic Press Blog
As we get press converage almost every week from magazines and TV channels from all around the world, just posting press releases on our site is no longer enough.
I have decided to open this Tonic Press blog so you can see firsthand what is actually being published, not just what we send out.
I have a lot of back log so I am going to start with a piece published in mid December 06 after an interview with Campaign ME.
It should give you a glimpse behind the way we think we can change the world of communication.
